Each piece is designed and handcrafted by me out of 16 gauge flat stock using a plasma cutter. Different acids and stains are used to create a variety of finishes. Each piece has its own unique look.

Sporck Tileart tiles are made using high fire stoneware clay that I process myself. The designs are our own creations inspired by Michigan wildlife, flora, icon locations. I have over 1000 designs.

My work is comprised of my insatiable desire for adventure and a keen eye for capturing the light that paints our human experiences–creating monumental moments. Many of my adventures consist of hiking wild, remote American terrain with a pack on my back, camera in hand and my fiancé at my side.

Scratchboard: hand rendering through a top coat of black ink into a center coat of white clay. Basically a manual etching process. Reverse of pencil, adding light instead of dark. Masonite board.
Our large metal prints are made by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum panels. Our photos on tile uses the same process. Our prints are on metallic paper with a black styrene backing
Alternative process of photo based image transfer onto mica coated salvaged wood.
This wood is first torched bringing out the natural grain then conductive burned to create unique patterns.
My work is pen & Ink. I use various materials; such as tech pens, watercolor brushes, fibers, and organic materials to create lines, color and textures. All of my work comes from my imagination.
Images are formed by using patterned cotton fabrics that are cut to match designed artwork, stitched together, and stretched over wood to create a canvas-like surface. All wooden frames are hand-made.

After assembling soulfully worn found objects, I add tiles created from encaustic wax embedded with tissue paper, burlap and waxed linen cord. I also add windows of etched tarpaper and stained glass.
