Native and exotic woods are turned into bowls platters and vessels to display their beauty. Maple burls are made into vessel and nested bowls. Various stones are used to repair or add to the pieces.

As a ceramic artist, my goal is to bring a touch of artistry to the home. I enjoy creating both wheel thrown and hand built pieces, using various techniques and glazes to create unique designs.

As the only full time Petoskey stone carver left in Michigan, I create works of art in stone. Including sculptures, cutlery, bowls and household items. I also inlay stone in rustic furniture.

My ceramics are all hand built with stoneware or porcelain. I hand paint and carve them all uniquely with themes of retro patterns, animals, and nature.

Leather

I create handmade pottery inspired by nature. I wheel throw and hand build using slabs. I mix my own glazes and fire in an electric kiln to cone 6.

My medium is steel. Each piece is hand cut, heated, bent and tig welded together. A heated patina finish is applied to complete each sculpture.

Pottery is mostly wheelthrown along with some hand built pieces. The pieces are altered to ensure uniqueness and have an organic feel. A vibrant color palette of food safe glazes is used. Usable Art.

My artwork and functional art is hand-built pottery, glazed in an array of bright colors. I make use of handmade drape and slump forms, textures, and handmade tools to give my pieces unique forms.

I make beautiful tree sculptures out of used scrap metal. Most finished pieces are steel. I do some pieces in copper. All are one of a kind sculptures. Best in show at South Haven last year.
